Today I packaged a version of Atari x00 Logo to run on the NES. Then, I did a version of the Commodore 64 OS (Basic + Kernal). Since graphics are so different in these systems it's hard to see much, but they run :) Next step is to find a good monitor and assembler and start trapping those OS and graphics calls!

Anyone out there have any links to basic NES tile code?

Example ROM Hacking post on replacing graphics of Super Mario Bros. to make it look like another game.

This could be useful to display characters from C64 Basic as NES graphics tiles.

Resolutions are slightly different:

C64 = 40x25 columns x rows. 320x200 pixels. Characters are 8x8 grids.
NES = (have to look it up)
