As you know, PlayPower has been challenged to provide educational software on a low-cost platform. For example, one of our early research papers showed that
simple typing software would help many people find jobs. Some of the them are in the US, many are around the world.

So we're looking at classic learn-to-type software for 8-bit platforms! We would like to offer others the same chance to learn to type which we were given when we were young! And if you can help us by running some software in a emulator, you would be part of our team. We are a volunteer organization, and we try to use cooperation by internet to get little pieces of work done.
For long-term archival purposes, I checked out three educational programs for learning to type. They are:
1. Stickybear Typing
2. Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing
3. Master Type.
Here is a .zip of the three C64 programs:
C64TripleTyping.zip
What we need:
These are .D64 & .T64 files. We need people to play these in an emulator. You will need a good C64 Emulator. Load them into it, get to the main menu screen, then save the 64K memory image to a file. Then
let us know here at the blog, and we can move to the next step. The next step is to port them to a platform where they can be used by people who can't afford typing lessons, or don't have access to schools.
If generating those three .bin files is small potatoes to you, then maybe you can work with some of the rest of our team ;)

This is a good place to download Commodore 64 software in general:
