SUBOR comes with two cartridges. One is a glop-top. The other has two commercial parts:

1. Parallel Flash chip (512KB): SSTVF040 DataSheet
2. 8KB SRAM chip: BR6265AF DataSheet

I'm short on time right now, but please check out this .zip release which has PDF datasheets for those two chips and pictures of the insides of the carts. noahSUBORcartChips.zip

The Subor cartridge is geared for the one-chip mode of the VT02 NES-on-a-chip used in the Subor game/computer system. It would likely work on other VT02 based systems, but won't work on a real Famicom or NES as the bus is different. The VT02 has a backwards compatibility mode where it will interface to a NES/Famicom bus, but a NES/Famicom won't interface to a VT02 bus.

Are these cartridges the same as those offered by other manufacturers offering mice with their famiclones? Has someone dumped this rom to see if it works with the powerPak with the 60 to 72 pin converter?

OMG, SST! That means the cartridges have Flash memory! I wonder if it can be written to from the Subor??
