P1XL Games is a small indie game development company which creates pixel games for mobile platforms. But our passions run deep into the 8-bit systems of yesteryear.
Me and my business partner Robin both have experience developing on 6502 based platforms. Mostly from the C64 side, but we've recently started getting into NES/Famicom development during our hobby hours.
I am an accomplished pixel artist and chiptune composer, with an emphasis on game assets. I also would consider myself a game designer.
Robin was lead programmer on the C64DTV project, a miniaturized C64 in a joystick. He is a very accomplished 6502 coder, a winner of 3 c64 minigame compos, and has coded for 4 published nintendo game projects.
How would you like to help Playpower?
P1XL Games would like to partner with Playpower offering skills and experience in areas such as working on an example game or providing sample assets, code and/or tutorials.
As a small company we are always looking for more ways to be noticed, and being able to give back to the world in a way that aligns with our passions sounds very rewarding as well.
What are your primary roles?
Game Developer, Game Designer, Software Developer, Graphic Designer, Musician
