- Briefly describe your background:
- I am a student at Dartmouth College graduating in 2013. I am interested in user-centered design, and specifically in how design can affect learning. I am currently conducting an independent project to design and construct educational installations at our Organic Farm in order to more effectively convey scientific information and connect people with the environment. The project includes extensive research into existing educational exhibits and their effectiveness.
- How would you like to help Playpower?
- I would love to help Playpower conduct user research in order to develop effective products and modify prototypes. I have talent for connecting with people and have experience conducting user research on a two-month engineering trip to rural Tanzania as well as numerous user-centered design projects at school. I would love to participate in game design, although I do not have a strong engineering or programming background- just a quick-thinking, creative mind!
