I was looking at some tutorials for Assembly code and stumbled upon this project which has really inspired me to learn code faster.

I thought a great idea would be a Mario-type game that teaches chemical reactions.  Think of the first level of Mario where you can just jump on the Goombas however in this case the Goombas would have little chemicals symbols on their heads for an acid and when you punch open the boxes Mario gets bases that he can use to jump on the Goombas.  If Mario doesn't have the base he can't jump on the Goomba.  The turtles could have gas chemical symbols and can only be destroyed using a fireball.

Thought it would be an interesting concept to teach about chemistry and chemical reactions through a video game.

This could also add resource management by allowing you to only hold a certain number of bases, kind of like Mario Kart. There should also be different strength bases you can use in order to defeat stronger or weaker acids, adding an element of strategy.

I was going to try and keep it on the simpler side, but I think a menu using select like Mario 3 would probably work really well. The cool part I suppose would be if you use too weak of an acid you'll lose that base when you jump on the stronger acid enemy.
